A Government Employee Wounded in IOF Artillery Shell North the Strip, 15 Arrested in W. Bank

OCCUPIED TERRITORIES, Palestine, March 20,2006 (IPC+ Agencies) - - Israeli occupation forces artillery stationed north Gaza Strip renewed Monday morning the shelling of the northern areas in the Gaza strip, Monday morning wounded a government employee as well as arrested 5 residents in Jenin, 9 at the entrances of Beita town of Nablus and a resident from Al Shawashra , east of Bethlehem .

The shelling northern the strip targeted pounded and open areas in Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun towns north of the strip, Nazieh Abu Odah, 25, an employee in the ministry of agriculture, was wounded from the shelling, local sources reported.

In the West Bank, the Israeli occupation troops arrested today dawn a resident from Saylt Al Harethia of Jenin district. Security sources reported that a few military armored vehicles advanced deep into the twon , conducted house to house search during which the resident Ragheb Zayod ,26, was rounded up.

Four other residents were arrested From Jenin city and Ya’b town, North West bank. Local sources said that nearly 20 armored Personnel carriers under a volley of random firing and stun grenade stormed into the twon and patrolling in the streets and alleyways. Three unidentified residents were arrested from a café of the city. all were led to unknown destination.

Sunday overnight, the Israeli troops arrested Amro Taysser Amro,21, from Ya’bed town , south west Jenin.
