People’s global Artistic Campaign 2005-2015

What is the campaign 2005-2015 "We are not accessories ! I refuse to be a part of it !" ?

This campaign calls each of us to create, share and display strong messages on walls, clothes, posters, screens and radio waves, in public and in media spaces. The aim is to create the artistic, cultural and universal decade that will successfully oppose militarism, colonialism, economic domination and oppression here and elsewhere.

Any person committed to freedom and justice for himself and for others is called upon to relay and promote this campaign, whether by independent and personal actions or in coordination with us all.
The aim is to overturn and bypass the universal censorship practices of the publicity and media industries and to allow the voices to be heard wherever possible and for as long as necessary of groups and individuals who refuse to be accomplices to barbarism.

Any person or organisation who fully subscribes to these terms and conditions is invited to act as a relay and an actor of the Campaign by freely calling on his/her own creative capabilities as well as those of his/her environment. There is no right of ownership on such productions from the initiators of the Campaign.

Ethical Standards

The four articles below form an indissociable whole

Article 1 Refusal of collusion - refusal to betray people and humankind- is prior to any other consideration, refusal to accept iniquity, despoliation, theft, murder, dispossession, alienation, genocide, destruction of society, monopolising for one’s exclusive profit at the expense of others of land, water, air, or any kind of natural resources or wealth produced by past generations or by human endeavour.

Article 2 Refusal of collusion is refusal of the use of double standards in the evaluation of words, of acts and their consequences, with regards to racial, ethnic, social, political, philosophical or religious criteria, or based on considerations tending to impose arbitrary guilt on one group or another as a result of political calculations or as an effect of emotion, hatred, or spirit of revenge, whether such words and acts are ours or those of others.

Article 3 Refusal of collusion is not doing, and not allowing everything mentioned before, and for that purpose calling upon every means - compatible with the final goal- to help the victim against the robber and the robber against his own folly.

Article 4 Refusal of collusion is resisting the spirit of revenge and refusing to legitimate revengeful actions. It means providing without discrimination assistance to the victims and the oppressed, making them feel the warm reality of solidarity, in order to restore their human dignity and legitimate rights.
